 T.A.
Hamilton was born in Indianapolis and raised in Indiana and
Illinois. He developed a love for the Theater early on and was attending
drama classes at the Butler
University Fine Arts Conservatory by age 6. He was a part of the Indianapolis
Children's Theater and had appeared on Television by age 8.
 T.A.
was enchanted early on by the Stage Magicians and Ventriloquists of the
Day which appeared with regularity upon the Television Screen. He was an
avid fan of the Ed Sullivan
Show and many other variety shows of the day. He embraced the audience
touching qualities of these performers and their respective originality.
To this day these are the qualities with which he imbues his presentations.
By age 9 he had already been to the Classical Music Memory State Finals
and served as a Page on the floor of the Indiana
General Assembly.

 At
age 10, his parents, in full support of his artistic endeavors, gave him
a beginner's ventriloquial figure. The figure instantly became a constant
companion and helped to mold the outgoing personality of this budding entertainer.

By age 12, T.A. had discovered the drums and Rock 'N Roll. His
next several years were overtaken by his interests in playing drums in
various moderately successful rock groups, his study of photography, art,
music, and of course his regular studies at school. During this time, T.A.
was performing regularly in the school swing orchestra, church plays and
presenting gospel messages using magic as an object lesson. T.A.
continued playing music as he graduated high school and began college.
He served his country as a computer specialist in the United States Navy
during the Vietnam Conflict aboard the USS Cascade AD-16. The Admiral of
the 6th fleet heard about T.A.'s Entertainment background and he was "Volunteered"
to play drums and perform magic with the Admiral's Public Relations Team.
As a member of this elite troupe he traveled all over Europe. He was presented
with a letter of Commendation by the command to which he was attached. |

Upon his return to the states and honorable discharge from the Navy
T.A. worked for 4 years as a Main Frame (IBM 370-155) Computer Operator
for Baptist Memorial Hospital of Kansas City, Missouri. |
While working nights at the Hospital T.A. began to supplement his income
by performing school assembly programs in area schools by day. Soon his
referrals had him working regularly as a Professional Magician. He eventually
toured the country for several years performing in Elementary Schools,
Jr. High's, High Schools, Colleges and Nightclubs.

He was approached by the Christopher Starr Organization to become the
company manager and supervise the "Galaxy of Magic", a major illusion show
at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas. During this same time period he was
asked to consult with David Copperfield's Illusion Builder, Johnny Gaughn,
in Los Angeles. The young David Copperfield was about to produce his third
TV Special and needed special effects advice and technique. |

This led to a stint as a special effects pyrotechnician with the Rock
Groups: K.I.S.S., Earth, Wind & Fire, Emerson, Lake & Palmer,
and Z.Z. Top. To this day T.A. (a fully licensed pyrotechnician) still
helps to present Major Fireworks Productions with the Kansas City Symphony
and other various civic organizations. |

T.A. Hamilton is the Recognizable Television and Radio Voice of many
midwestern businesses. He has also served corporate America as a Trade
Show Personality to promote varied products, services and agendas. |

He has performed the biggest illusions in the world including his multiple
escapes from the legendary Houdini Water Torture Cell. |

Shows per year.
